Rochelle “Shelly” Kerner was a President of SPBC FAWL for 2006-2007, who passed away on June 7, 2020 from cancer. Even after her SPBC FAWL presidency, Shelly continued to stay involved with FAWL by attending our monthly lunches and annual events, like the Annual Judicial Reception. Shelly was an entertainment lawyer in her professional life and loved to travel and attend the theatre and other live events whenever she could. In her honor and in her memory, we have started the Rochelle “Shelly” Kerner Memorial/SPBC FAWL Changing Lives Scholarship that gives a small scholarship annually to a Nova Southeastern Law Student interested in Shelly’s area of practice.
If you wish to make a donation, you can participate in the different fundraising events we will have throughout the year, including a 50/50 raffle and silent auction.
